Lindsey Daley, 2026

Lindsey recently went above and beyond for patients in Neurophysiology during a particularly challenging day. Even as the department fell behind through no fault of the staff and frustrations began to grow, she remained calm, compassionate, and focused on helping each patient feel cared for.

To ease the long wait, Lindsey thoughtfully purchased drinks from the coffee shop for some of the patients. One situation especially highlighted her compassion. A patient’s driver, already upset about bringing him to the appointment, said he would not return for the patient’s follow-up visit the next day. Recognizing how important that appointment was, Lindsey reached out for help and continued looking for a solution.

Eventually, Lindsey was able to arrange transportation for the patient. The patient was relieved and grateful, and Lindsey’s persistence helped turn a stressful experience into one that felt supportive and reassuring.

Lindsey’s kindness, initiative and dedication made a meaningful difference for this patient. She truly went above and beyond to make sure he felt supported, and her actions reflect the compassion and excellence we hope every patient experiences at Union.

Lacey Nepote, 2025

On a particularly busy day, Lacey Nepote went above and beyond to fulfill a heartfelt birthday wish for one of our patients. Despite the challenges and demands of the unit, she made time to provide a moment of dignity and comfort that deeply touched everyone involved.

The patient had requested a shower—something that seemed unlikely given the circumstances. But Lacey made it happen. She stayed with him for nearly an hour, ensuring his safety and comfort throughout. What stood out most was not just the act itself, but the way she carried it out—with gentleness, patience, and genuine compassion. Thank you, Lacey for treating our patients like family.

Healthier, together.
