Cafeteria and Meal Service

For your convenience, Union Hospital has various on-site dining options.

 

Main Campus Cafeteria

The cafeteria, located on the lower level of Union Hospital East, is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with hot meals being served during the following times:

  • Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Dinner: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten-free choices, are available on a daily basis.

Vending

Vending machines are located in the lower level of Union Hospital West and on each floor (2 through 4 by the patient elevators) of Union Hospital East. The Hub, located on the first floor of the Medical Office Building (Bldg. 8), is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m to 5 p.m. and offers beverages, Simply-to-Go, and snack items.

Coffee Shop

The Union Coffee Clinic located in the lobby of Union West proudly serves Starbucks Coffee. Hand-crafted beverages and snacks are available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meal Service

Meals are made to order with our Room Service program seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m by dialing *5 or 5555. Every effort will be made to accommodate your food and beverage preferences based on your physician's diet order. Menus are available in your room. Please ask your nurse for assistance if you are not able to find the menu or cannot order for yourself. When you place your order, if you are on a special/restricted diet, our Room Service Associate will assist you with your meal selection.

Guest Meals

Guests can utilize our room service program seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Meals are delivered at a charge of $7 and include one entree, two sides, one beverage, and one dessert. Cash only. Tray passers can provide change. Meal vouchers can be prepurchased at the cafeteria during open hours. Guest meals can be ordered by dialing 5555 or calling 812-238-7503.
