Union Health is pleased to welcome Sarah Combs, MD, to the Women and Infants service team, expanding access to compassionate obstetrics and gynecology care for women and families throughout the Wabash Valley.

Dr. Combs provides care for a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic needs, including vaginal delivery, cesarean section, birth control and hysterectomy. She is accepting self-referrals and will care for patients both in the clinic and during inpatient stays at Union Hospital.

A native of Carmel, Indiana, Dr. Combs brings strong Indiana roots and a commitment to serving close to home. She completed her residency at Washington University in St. Louis and earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.

Her connection to Union Health began during medical school, when she completed OBGYN rotations in Terre Haute. That experience helped inspire her return to the community. “Being a member of a community means helping those around me — I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Dr. Combs said.
