Union Health is excited to welcome Cardiologist Dr. Irfan Shafi to Terre Haute. Dr. Shafi is deeply committed to providing compassionate care during some of the most critical and high-stakes moments in his patients’ lives. His passion for cardiology stems from its unique blend of rapid decision-making, procedural precision and the ability to make a meaningful impact in real time.

 

Dr. Shafi completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology at Wayne State University in Detroit, followed by advanced training in Interventional Cardiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Shafi is actively engaged in medical education, mentorship and research, with a particular interest in leveraging technology to enhance patient outcomes.
