Union Health proudly announces it has achieved another three-year recertification for Advanced Joint Replacement with Distinction Center through Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

Certification is a process through which health care organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Certification by ACHC reflects an organization's dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

“Achieving a three-year ACHC recertification for our Advanced Joint Replacement Program with Distinction is more than an accomplishment, it is a reflection of the heart and dedication of our entire Union Orthopedics Team,” Leah Salvador, Director, Orthopedic Service Line, said. “It is a reflection of our team’s commitment to provide high-quality joint replacement care right here in our community, close to home and close to the people who matter most.”

ACHC is a nonprofit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986. ACHC is ISO9001:2015 certified and has CMS deeming authority for Home Health, Hospice, DMEPOS, Acute Care Hospital, Critical Access Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center and Clinical Laboratory.
