Recovering from an extended illness or accident can be quite challenging. Union Hospital's Medical Rehabilitation unit provides intensive rehabilitation in an acute care hospital setting. Our goal is to help patients who have suffered a physical loss of function from an extended illness or injury return to the highest level of independence.
Union Hospital's Medical Rehabilitation Unit treats young adults through geriatric patients. We strive to provide the highest quality of specialized rehabilitation care by staffing our unit with experts in the rehabilitation field. Care is coordinated through a multi-disciplinary team that includes specialty-trained rehabilitation physicians, nurses, and therapists.
Some patients may require care from other specialized physicians. Treatment of difficult medical problems is supported by the resources of Union Hospital, a comprehensive acute care hospital with more than a century of service to the Wabash Valley.
