Biography

Dr. Maynard was born in Detroit and did most of his training in Chicago. His wife is from Terre Haute, so he relocated here after he was married. In medical school he immediately became interested in neuroanatomy and subsequently in disorders of the nervous system. He was on the faculty the Indiana University School of Medicine and taught Neurology to the to help medical students for over 20 years. While practicing in Terra Haute, he published a paper on Alzheimer's disease.
