In honor of American Heart Health Month, Union Health hosted “Heart Night” on the concourse of Hulman Center during a recent ISU’s Men’s Basketball Game.
More than two dozen Union Health clinicians and staff volunteered their time to provide heart‑health education and screenings to the community. Nearly 300 attendees engaged with multiple educational booths offering heart‑health information and hands‑on resources designed to support cardiovascular wellness. Countless blood pressure screenings were completed, and several heart scans were scheduled during the event.
ISU Men’s Basketball Coach Matthew Graves shared his personal message on the importance of heart screenings and caring for your health.
Event activities also included a popular Pop‑a‑Shot basketball game, appearances by Sycamore Sam, a themed photo backdrop and a variety of complimentary giveaways.
Simple, non-invasive heart screenings are offered at Union Hospital Clinton, located at 801 S. Main St. in Clinton. To schedule your $49 Heart Scan or $56 Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening, call 765.832.1559
