Union Health has lifted temporary visitation restrictions at Union Hospital Main Campus, Union Hospital Regional and Union Hospital Clinton following a decline in respiratory virus activity across the Wabash Valley. Effective immediately, standard visitation guidelines have resumed.

Union Health will continue to monitor community illness trends and emphasizes the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff.

As a reminder, self-screening is required by all visitors and employees. For the safety of our patients, any visitor or employee experiencing any respiratory symptoms should not enter any Union Health facility, unless seeking medical treatment.

Symptoms include, but not limited to:

  • Fever (100.4 or greater)
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Headache
  • Sore Throat
  • Diarrhea
  • Cough
  • Muscle or Body Aches
  • Loss of Taste or Smell
  • Nausea or Vomiting
  • Unexplained or Unusual Fatigue
  • In the past 10 days, if you’ve been in close contact with someone known to be positive for respiratory illness or have had symptoms consistent with respiratory illness.

Individuals who have had close contact within the past 10 days with someone known to be positive for a respiratory illness or who are experiencing symptoms consistent with respiratory illness are encouraged to take added precautions.

Patients presenting with respiratory symptoms may be asked to wear a mask upon arrival at any Union Health facility. Visitors are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene, cough etiquette and social distancing when appropriate.

Healthier, together.
