This week, Union Health proudly celebrated Lab Week by recognizing the incredible contributions of our laboratory team. Throughout the week, co‑workers enjoyed a variety of food and snacks as a small token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

Our laboratory team, made up of nearly 150 co‑workers across the system, play a vital role in patient care. Each year, they perform over 5 million analytes, ensuring accurate and timely results that support critical diagnosis and treatment decisions every day. Often working behind the scenes, their expertise and commitment are essential to delivering high‑quality care. Lab Week provided a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect and thank this outstanding team for their dedication to excellence.

Looking ahead, we are excited for the completion of our new state‑of‑the‑art laboratory at the Union Health Main Campus, expected in January 2027. This new space will triple our capacity and significantly improve efficiencies, further enhancing our ability to serve patients and providers.
