Biography

I attended medical school at KIMS, Bangalore India and completed my residency in Internal Medicine in India as well as at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. After practicing Internal Medicine for 2 years in Northeast Indiana, I returned to Chicago Medical School to complete my Fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Sleep medicine.

I moved to Terre Haute in 2002 with my family and Terre Haute has been my home since then.

I am board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine as well as Sleep disorders Medicine.

I practice in both hospital and outpatient settings including care for critically ill patients in ICU. My special interests are in COPD, Interstitial lung diseases, Pulmonary hypertension and sleep medicine. I also have satellite offices and oversee a local long term ventilator facility.

Over the years I have taught medical students and residents and have actively participated in Continuing Education programs. I have been a guest faculty member for IU School of Medicine.
