Dr. Rashmi R. Abhyankar has always wanted to be a doctor since childhood, driven to help people. She was in an OB/GYN residency program in India when she married and moved to Terre Haute. Fortunately, there was a residency program available there, and she trained in family medicine at Union Hospital. Dr. Abhyankar began working at AP&S and Union Hospital and is now part of the Union Medical Group. She enjoys the special connection she has with her patients and takes pride in seeing the babies she delivered grow up into adults. Additionally, she continues to train students, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
