Dr. Emmanuel Favila is a cardiologist with Union Health in Terre Haute, Indiana. He earned both his medical degree and Bachelor of Science in Pre-medicine from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. Following medical school, Dr. Favila completed residencies in general surgery at Polymedic General Hospital and in internal medicine at Veterans Memorial Hospital, both in Manila. He was then awarded a fellowship in adult cardiology at the Philippine Heart Center for Asia, where he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Fellow in Cardiology. Dr. Favila subsequently completed an additional residency in internal medicine at Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by a cardiology fellowship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a naturalized U.S. citizen with over 45 years of medical experience at Regional Health. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Favila enjoys spending time with his wife and their four grown children. Dr. Favila welcomes new patients and referrals.
