In recognition of Stroke Awareness Month, Union Health invites community members to take charge of their health with free stroke risk screenings available each Thursday in May.

Stroke continues to significantly impact the Wabash Valley. In Vermillion County, stroke-related death rates have remained well above the Indiana average in recent years. Many major stroke risk factors including high blood pressure, high cholesterol and uncontrolled blood sugar often go undetected without routine screenings.

To help address this need, Union Health will offer FREE stroke risk screenings, including:

  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Cholestrol Screening
  • Blood Glucose Testing

Thursdays in May 2026 (May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28)

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Union Hospital Clinton 801 S. Main St., Clinton, IN 47842

No appointment is necessary.

Stroke is largely preventable, and early detection of risk factors can be lifesaving. Take a few minutes to check your numbers and take proactive steps toward better health.

Healthier, together.
