Chad Meshberger, DO, is a board-certified neurologist with a deep-rooted passion for patient care and a particular interest in epilepsy management.
Dr. Meshberger grew up in Lafayette, Indiana, and took an unconventional path into medicine. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and served on the Pararescue Combat Search and Rescue Team, where he first encountered medicine.
Driven by a newfound purpose, Dr. Meshberger completed his enlistment with the goal of becoming a physician. He completed his medical degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. However, his educational journey eventually led him back to his home state of Indiana, where he completed both his residency and fellowship training at Indiana University School of Medicine. Along the way, he commissioned into the U.S. Army National Guard, where he continues to serve as a battalion flight surgeon.
Initially drawn to trauma medicine, Dr. Meshberger discovered a profound connection to neurology—captivated by its complexity, mystery and human stories behind each diagnosis. Today, he embraces all aspects of neurology, with a clinical focus on epilepsy and seizure disorders. He is board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology.
