Beginning September 28th, Janis Davies Ingebrigtsen, MD will begin a new chapter in her medical career at the former Rockville Town Square Clinic. While this will be a new journey for her, she is no stranger to the area or to rural medicine. After more than 20 years of medical experience in the Wabash Valley, she is returning to the same Parke County town that launched her medical profession.

“My parents were born and raised in Parke County,” Dr. Davies Ingebrigtsen said. “In fact, I own the farm that’s been in our family for more than 100 years.” She, however, was born and raised in Vermillion County. A proud Ernie Pyle Trojan and Turkey Run Warrior, Dr. Ingebrigtsen was taught to value small knit communities with deep roots.

Dr. Davies Ingebrigtsen will begin seeing patients at the former Rockville Town Square Clinic, located at 111 W. High Street. It was previously owned and operated by Dr. Dan Dwyer and Dr. Tom Nicholas. The duo partnered in practice for more than 45 years before retiring this month.

The clinic name will change to Rockville Family Medicine with Union Medical Group to reflect the integrated Union Health system that has provided quality healthcare in the Wabash Valley for more than 100 years. Today, Union Medical group consists of more than 145 providers in 20 specialties. Patients will now have access to population health initiatives that include care management resources not otherwise available.

Dr. Janis Davies Ingebrigtsen is now scheduling appointments and can be reached at (765) 569-2057.
