Dr. Pine-Mattas is a farm girl from rural Paris, Illinois. She earned her undergraduate degree in animal science at the University of Illinois but decided to switch to humans and obtained her medical degree from the RMED (Rural Medical Education Program) at University of Illinois. She completed family medical training at Union Hospital in 2006 and then started practice at Cork Medical Center also in 2006. She is board certified in family medicine.

Her favorite aspects of care are in pediatrics and sports medicine. She also teaches medical students, nurse practitioner students and physician assistant students regularly. Dr. Pine-Mattas thoroughly enjoys caring for rural patients in her home area and is dedicated to the health of Clark County. When not seeing patients, she volunteers as a 4-H leader, coach and serves on multiple boards in Clark County. She loves reading, keeping score at her kids games, traveling and working on the family farm.
