Dr. Amy James is from Mt, Morris, IL. She completed medical school at University of Illinois, and then residency at Spartanburg Family Medicine Residency in South Carolina. She returned to Illinois in 2006 to begin her practice in Marshall, IL with Union Medical Group. She is board certified in Family Medicine and enjoys taking care of entire families. She is on clinical faculty with both the University of Illinois College of Medicine and Indiana University School of Medicine. She also is a member of Rural Medicine Education Recruitment and Retention Committee with the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She is passionate about training medical students for a career serving underserved rural populations.
